Stallholders

Apply for a stall

Applications are open for our launch market at Bassett Reserve, Sunday 27 September 2026, 8am to 1pm, then the fourth Sunday of every month. We're a food-first market where everything is sold direct by the person who grew or made it, so no wholesalers or resellers. Places are limited, so tell us what you do and we'll be in touch.

We look for stalls that each bring something distinctive, so the most useful thing you can tell us is what makes yours different from anyone else selling something similar. You can view our stallholder fees before you apply.

Tell us about your stall

Just the essentials. If you're a good fit we'll come back to you for the rest.

We'll use this to contact you about your application. We don't share it.

This is the most useful thing you can tell us. It helps us keep real variety across the market.

A note on power: there is no mains power at Bassett Reserve. Every stall must trade unpowered, or run its own compliant generator, which must be a quiet inverter-type unit rated at 65 dB(A) or less at 7 metres, current tested and tagged, and run in line with Victoria's Environment Protection Act 2017. Generators are by prior arrangement only.

If your application is successful, it will be accepted at least three weeks before the market and we'll contact you straight away. Occasionally we may reach out as late as 48 hours before market day, if a confirmed stallholder can't attend and a spot opens in your category.

Confirming your stall. Your stall isn't confirmed until your site fee is paid and we've received your Public Liability Insurance (minimum $10 million cover) and Statement of Trade. Payment is taken at booking; bookings close three weeks before market day, and any unpaid reservation is released one week out. See our Stallholder Terms & Conditions for cancellation and refund details.

How we'll run it. For our first three months we'll use the Issimo Markets platform for final approvals, document submission, payment processing and market mapping.

Your Statement of Trade. All food and beverage vendors must hold a current Statement of Trade, lodged through Victoria's FoodTrader portal before market day, using: Yarraville Farmers Market, Bassett Reserve, Geelong Rd, West Footscray VIC 3012, on 27 September, 25 October and 22 November 2026.

By submitting this form you agree to be contacted by Yarraville Farmers Market (as part of Common Ground Markets) regarding your application. We will not share your information with third parties. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and places for our first market on Sunday 27 September 2026 are limited, so we encourage you to apply early.
