Yarraville Farmers Market is a monthly farmers market in Melbourne's inner west: seasonal fresh produce, bread, meats, dairy and eggs, sold direct by the farmers and growers who produce them, all Australian-made, at Bassett Reserve, right where Yarraville, Kingsville and West Footscray meet, from Sunday 27 September 2026.
Why we exist
How this market works. As a farmers market we will be predominantly fresh food, where farmers, growers and local specialty producers sell directly to the public. All items must be sold directly by the producer or maker. No wholesalers or resellers are permitted.
Plenty to discover, every market
We want every visit to be worth the trip, so we build the market around variety and range. Fresh, seasonal produce and the staples you rely on, sitting next to something you have not tried before. Every stallholder brings something distinctive, and as the market grows we will welcome additional producers and makers whenever there's demand to support them. That way our growers and makers get a fair go at a good day, every market, with enough shoppers to make the trip worthwhile.
You should be able to walk the market and find variety, quality and things you cannot get elsewhere, sold by the person who grew or made them. That is what brings people back the fourth Sunday of every month.
We believe a great market isn't just a collection of stalls — it's an act of community. So we build the line-up carefully, hold every stallholder to a clear standard, and run the whole market single-use plastic free and working towards zero waste. Genuinely good food and goods, made by people who care, in a place that feels like home.
